STS-86 Commander James D. Wetherbee greets family members, friends and other well-wishers during a brief visit to Launch Pad 39A the day before the scheduled Sept. 25 liftoff of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. This will be Wetherbees fourth spaceflight. STS-86 is slated to be the seventh docking of the Space Shuttle with the Russian Space Station Mir. (Photo Release Date: 09/24/97 )
