STS-84 Mission Specialist C. Michael Foale, who will become the fifth U.S. astronaut to live and work on the Russian Space Station Mir, arrives at KSCs Shuttle Landing Facility for the STS-84 Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT), a dress rehearsal for launch. Foale will be dropped off on Mir when the Space Shuttle Atlantis docks with Mir next month. He will become a member of the Mir 23 crew, replacing U.S. astronaut Jerry M.
