STS-78 Mission Commander Terence T. "Tom" Henricks (right) greets fellow crew member and Payload Specialist Jean-Jacques Favier after arriving at KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility to participate in the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT), a dress rehearsal for launch. Favier is one of the two international payload specialists assigned to STS-78 and represents the French Space Agency (CNES). Over the next several days, Henricks, Favier, and their fellow crew members wil take part in emergency egress training at the launch pad and conclude their stay with a simulated countdown.
