STS-72 Commander Brian Duffy returns to Florida, looking forward to the first Shuttle flight of 1996. Duffy and a crew of five are scheduled to lift off aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on January 11 during an approximately 49-minute launch window opening at 4:18 am EST. The astronauts flew into KSC's Shuttle Landing Facility from Johnson Space Center, Houston, not too long after the countdown clock began ticking toward the 74th Shuttle liftoff. STS-72 will be Duffy's third Shuttle flight and his first as commander. (Photo Release Date: 1/8/96 )
