The Wake Shield Facility-2 (WSF-2), the round disc at top center of photo, is installed in the payload canister at the Vertical Processing Facility before being brought to Launch Pad 39A. The WSF is a primary payload of the STS-69 mission, along with the Shuttle Pointed Autonomous Research Tool for Astronomy/Solar Wind Generation Experiment-201 (SPARTAN-201). Two of the secondary payloads are the International Extreme Ultraviolet Hitchhiker (IEH)-1 and the Capillary Pumped Loop-2/Gas Bridge Assembly (CAPL-2/GBA), both of which are visible in the center and bottom of the canister. The Space Shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to lift off on STS-69 no earlier than Aug. 3. (Photo Release Date: 06/30/95 )
