STS-54 Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, lands on concrete runway 33 at
the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF). Main
landing gear (MLG) and nose landing gear (NLG) ride along runway surface
while the deployed drag chute slows OV-105's speed. This view of OV-105's
starboard side looks aft from the nose section and crew compartment
windows into the unfurled drag chute trailing behind the vehicle. The
rudder/speedbrake on the vertical tail is deployed. In the foreground, is
a drainage ditch or canal and Florida vegetation. MLG touchdown occurred
at 8:39 am (Eastern Standard Time (EST)). During this landing Detailed
