  STS-54 Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, soars into the morning sky
  after  liftoff from a Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Launch Complex (LC) Pad
  39B at  8:59:30 am (Eastern Standard Time (EST)).  This low angle view
  captures  OV-105, atop the external tank (ET) and flanked by two solid
  rocket boosters  (SRBs), just before its roll maneuver.  The three space
  shuttle main engines  (SSMEs), located just below the vertical tail, are
  firing and produce a  diamond shock effect.  Exhaust billows from the SRB
  skirts.
