  STS-52 Columbia, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 102, clears the tower after liftoff 
  from Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Launch Complex (LC) Pad 39B at 1:09:39 pm 
  (Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)).  The diamond shock effect from OV-102's
  three  space shuttle main engines (SSMEs) is visible.  Exhaust billows from
  the  solid rocket boosters (SRBs) and covers the LC Pad in a cloud.
