KSC-00PP-1208 - STS-92 Discovery is lifted in the VAB for stacking The orbiter Discovery is viewed from below as it is lifted in the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building. The orbiter will be transferred to high bay 3 to be mated to an external tank and solid rocket boosters. Discovery is scheduled to launch Oct. 5 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on mission STS-92, delivering two elements of the International Space Station: the Z-1 truss and Pressurized Mating Adapter-3.
