STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: The panoramic views of the different parts of Columbia and the Neurolab payload range in size from 30k to 66k. Please be patient when moving to a new location.

A Help Buttons
Click on the three buttons help you to get to this Help section, the About section or to exit to the front page of the virtual tour.
B Main Navigation Screen
Click on the buttons in this screen to jump to different points in the Space Shuttle. The six areas available to you are: Cockpit, Middeck, Airlock, Spacelab Tunnel, Spacelab, Processing Bay. You can also jump off to the STS-90 Countdown Page from clicking on the patch.
C Main Panorama Screen
Click on this screen and drag your mouse to turn around and look 360 degrees in the location where you have jumped to. After clicking on this screen, you may press A to zoom in, press Z to zoom back out, or press H to view any available Hot Spots. Hot Spots are items you can click on to find out what they are.
D Location/Information Window
The text in this block either tells you where you are in the Space Shuttle or, if you have clicked on a Hot Spot, tells you what it was you clicked on.
E Hot Spots
When ever your mouse moves over a Hot Spot on a panorama, a red target will appear (as shown below) indicating that you can click on it. When you click on a hot spot, the Location/Information Window will tell you what you clicked on. On some items there is a button indicating that there is more information available by clicking on the "MORE" button (see below).

When the "MORE" link is displayed it means you can bring up extra information on either the location where you are looking or on a Hot Spot that you have clicked on. When you click on the "MORE" button a new screen will appear with additional information. When you are done reading the new screen you may close it and return to the tour.
