KSC-96EC-0826 - STS-78 crew departs O&C building for launch 


The STS-78 flight crew is greeted by a crowd of wellwishers as they
depart the Operations and Checkout Building and head for the launch
pad. Leading the way are .... Awaiting the crew at Launch Pad 39B is
the Space Shuttle Columbia, scheduled to lift off on an extended
duration flight during a two-and-a-half hour launch window opening at
10:49 a.m. EDT, June 20.
