In addition to badging for general access, most payload processing facilities require access badges to gain entrance. In most cases these badges require that certification and training about the facilities, work area rules, security, and safety be taken at KSC or prior to arrival.
In order to facilitate a customer's stay at KSC, badging requirements and training should be pre-arranged as early as possible.
