Local Airports
The Kennedy Space Center has two major airports nearby. The
Orlando International Airport
located south of Orlando, Florida is approximately a one hour drive from
KSC. The Melbourne Airport
is approximately a 45 minute drive from KSC. Both are served by most major airlines.
Directions from Orlando International Airport
From Orlando International, exit the north exit to 528 East (the Beeline). Take the Beeline east past two tolls ($1.00 and $0.25) to a left exit labelled "407, Titusville, Kennedy Space Center". Take 407 until it ends at 405. Turn right onto 405. Proceed east approximately 1 mile until you see a Redstone rocket on your right. You will see a small building near the rocket that says "BADGING" this is where you can pick up your badge for your vist and obtain a KSC map.
Directions from Melbourne Regional Airport
From the Melbourne Regional Airport, Make a right out of the parking lot. Proceed to first traffic signal make right. At 2nd traffic signal take left (NASA Blvd). At 2nd traffic signal make right (New Haven Ave or 192). Take 192 approximately 2.5 miles to I-95. Take I-95 north approximately 18 miles to 407. Exit onto 407, take all the way to end, turn right onto 405. Proceed east on 405 approximately 1 mile until you see a Redstone Rocket on your right. You will see a small building near the rocket that says "BADGING" this is where you this is where you can pick up your badge for your vist and obtain a KSC map.
