In the microgravity environment, gravity is so weak that anything you push against projects you away from it {Newton's third law}. This makes typing understandably difficult. It also makes it an ideal environment for using a wearable computer.Since nothing external is being pushed against, the "flying typist" problem is avoided.

The Astronaut at left from the STS-75 mission has a number of paper checklists that could be substituted by a head mounted display. A display could be located inside of his helment {reflecting off the glass like a HUD on an aircraft}.

The Astronaut at right from the STS-73 USML-2 mission appears to be viewing a procedure for one of the experiments. This again would be another example of on-orbit implementation of the body wearable computer.
