On 8/28/97, Cassini was moved to Launch Complex 40 and lifted to the top of the Titan IVB/Centaur launch vehicle. Cassini spacecraft processing at KSC has been in the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility (PHSF) with the Cassini Propulsion Module in the SAEF-II High Bay.The first launch attempt for October 13, 1997 was scrubbed due to upper atmosphere winds.
