CCAS Skid Strip
The Cape Canaveral Air Station Skid Strip is a 10,000 foot long runway used to
support the air transportation requirements of space, ballistic
and weapons launch programs as well as various special operations for DoD.
The Skid Strip can be used for air delivery and pick up of payload elements.
