The SAEF-2 is a payload processing facility (PPF) used for the assembly, test, encapsulation, ordnance work, propellant loading, and pressurization of spacecraft. The SAEF-2 is located at F Avenue and 7th Street in the Hypergol Maintenance Facility Area, KSC Industrial Area.

The SAEF-2 is a customer-operated facility where the customer is responsible for day-to-day operations including opening and closing the powered door, performing crane lifts and more.
