About the Launch Site Support Office
- To assure that payloads arrive at the launch site, are processed, launched and
deintegrated to meet or exceed payload customer expectations.
- To develop a successful plan for payload launch site processing, in cooperation
with the payload customer, which meets performance, schedule, and budget requirements.
The Launch Site Support Office (LSSO) serves as the primary interface between the Kennedy Space
Center payload community and the payload customer. Launch Site Support Managers (LSSM)
arrange badging, develop schedules, provide necessary documentation and perform all the other
necessary functions to help a payload get processed smoothly for launch at Kennedy Space
Center.
The Launch Site Support Office can be reached by phone during the business hours of
8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
