  This view of the Sierra Madre Oriental, Mexico (26.5N, 102.0W) west of 
  Monclova, shows a mining region of northern Mexico.  Mine tailings  can be 
  seen on the mountain slopes and in the valley floor.  In addition to mining 
  activity, several irrigated agricultural areas supporting the local 
  communities can be seen in the area.
