Title: HST High Gain Antennae photographed by Electronic Still Camera
Description:
This view of one of the two High Gain Antennae (HGA) on the Hubble Space
Telescope (HST) was photographed with an Electronic Still Camera (ESC). The
scene was downlinked to ground controllers soon after the Shuttle Endeavour
caught up to the orbiting telescope. Electronic still photography is a
technology which provides the means for a handheld camera to electronically
capture and digitize an image with resolution approaching film quality.
