  Nancy J. Sherlock, wearing flight coveralls and a helmet, holds onto her 
  parachute harness in preparation for parachute drag training during a Vance 
  Air Force Base (VAFB) survival course. The overall course is designed to 
  familiarize trainees with procedures to follow in the event of an emergency 
  ejection from a jet aircraft. Sherlock, along with other Group 13 1990 
  Astronaut Class candidates (ASCANs), participated in the Oklahoma training
