Title: STS-56 crewmembers participate in emergency egress (bailout) in JSC's WETF
  Description:
STS-56 Discovery, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 103, crewmember, wearing launch and
entry suit (LES) and launch and entry helmet (LEH), is suspended by his
parachute harness over JSC's Weightless Environment Training Facility
(WETF) Bldg 29 pool during launch emergency egress (bailout) exercises.
Equipped with an underarm flotation device and dark goggles (to simulate
night lighting conditions), the crewmember waits to be dropped in the
water below. This simulation prepares the astronauts for the event of an
emergency egress and subsequent water landing during launch. In the
background and walking along the poolside is Pilot Stephen S. Oswald.
