The controller for Discovery's, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 103's, auxiliary power
unit 1 (APU-1) is documented before removal following the launch scrub on
04-10-90. The controller weighs about 15 pounds and controls the speed of
the APU. It was flown to the vendor, Sundstrand Corp., Rockford, Illinois,
for analysis and testing. Launch of OV-103 on mission STS-31 has been
rescheduled for 04-24-90 following the successful replacement of the APU-1
and the recharging of the Hubble Space Telescope's (HST's) nickel-hydrogen
