TODD BAILEY

Todd Bailey has resided here in the Clear Lake area since 1966. His father came here for the Apollo Program so he has been somewhat involved in the aerospace industry for a while. Starting at JSC as a Safety Diver in the Weightless Environment Training Facility (WETF), Todd then moved over to the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility to help build the Space Station Module mockups. He has been in the Test Safety Office for a little over seven years. Todd received his Business Management degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1991. Most of his time, though, is spent raising two boys since he is a single father. His job title involves assuring the safety of the test subjects, test team personnel, test hardware, operations, and equipment. He also insures that all applicable safety requirements and specifications for the project are met and that all the necessary analyses are complete and adequate to provide a through understanding of the risks involved.
